Brass Bead Head Midges Chironomids Fly
Chironomids are one of the most prevalent insects found in still water and stream habitats. This is a basic Zebra Midge pattern imitating a chironomid pupa. Besidesmaking the fly sink quickly, the white Brass bead can represent the gills or trapped
air bubble of the pupa. Chironomid patterns like these can be equally deadly in stillwaters, tailwaters and freestone streams.
